Turn-around Time

Please note that we do not maintain a significant inventory but rather items are hand made especially to fill your order. The turn-around time is directly proportional to the order quantity. Generally turn-around time for one item is between 2 to 8 weeks. Customization work duration is hard to predict and may be longer than that of standard production items.

Customizations

We welcome custom order requests and will be very happy to work as a team with you to satisfy your custom order.

Custom work falls into two categories : i) customization of a standard item and ii) custom creation of a new item. In both cases, please note that the viability and cost of the custom work will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The customization cost will vary depending upon factors such as material costs, time required, research and development etc.

Customization of a standard item
If you are interested in customizing a standard item, please use the order form's Notes section to include a description of how you would like this done. For example, if you would like a different color scheme for a lamp - simply click the Notes checkbox and include the description there. Clicking the Notes checkbox again will minimize the notes (the notes are still there, just hidden from view). Alternatively you can fax us or call us to discuss the customization.

Custom creation of a new item
If you are interested in purely custom work, such as a new design of an object, please contact us with the details either by calling or by filling out the order form's Notes (select 'CUSTOM' from the Item Name selection list and fill out its custom instructions section).

Lamp Fittings

Fittings refer to light fixtures. On the order form you can check the Fittings checkbox if you want fittings included. Pendants automatically come with fittings. Other lamps may or may not come with fittings and/or stands. Please ask or see the descriptions below each lamp in the Lighting section for details. Generally the lighting uses 110v 25/40/60W US Type B or Type G bulb fixtures. If you need larger please indicate this in the order form's Notes section for that item and it will be treated as custom work.

Pendants
Pendants come with fittings and 6ft (2m) of cable. These are included in the item price.

Torchieres
Depending upon the torchiere, it may or may not include stand and fittings - please see the descriptions below each torchiere in the Torchiere section for details. The stand and fittings costs are not included in the item price. Stand order times may vary.

Table lamps
Depending upon the table lamp, it may or may not include stand and fittings - please see the descriptions below each table lamp in the Table Lamps section for details. Some stands can be ordered from us - please ask for details. The stand and fittings costs are not included in the item price. Stand order times may vary.

We are currently working on new sconce designs and fittings. Please subscribe to our free low volume email list and stay up-to-date with the latest information and news about new designs and availability.

If you have a question about an order item and you are using the online order form, please include this in the form's Notes section for that item. Clicking the Notes checkbox again will minimize the notes (the notes are still there, just hidden from view). Alternatively you can click here to ask a general question about order items.

Using the Order Form

Item Name
The item name identifies an item you are interested in ordering. If you are interested in making a purely custom order for something that is not shown on the website, please select 'CUSTOM' from the Item Name selection list (it is the very last option) and fill out its custom instructions section. For further information about custom work see Customizations above.

Quantity
Use the order form's quantity field to indicate how many of the selected items you are interested in ordering.

Fittings
Check the Fittings checkbox if you want fittings included. Some lamps come with fittings, others don't. Please read the Lamp Fittings section above for details.

Notes
Use the item's Notes section to ask questions or include ordering notes to us about that item. To view the notes section for the item, check the Notes checkbox. Clicking the Notes checkbox again will minimize the notes (the notes are still there, just hidden from view). If the Item Name is CUSTOM, then use the Notes section for explaining custom instructions.

Approximate Total
As order items are added, the approximate order total is calculated. This is only approximate since this does not include things such as shipping, tax, custom work or fittings (excluding pendant lamps which include fittings). The approximate total however is calculated to give you a good idea of the final order total for most order cases.
